The Associate’s Degree is a total of 63 credit hours. It covers the major areas in Islamic religion, including Quran and its Sciences, Prophetic Sayings and Practice, Islamic Creed, Islamic Jurisprudence, Islamic Ethics, Rules of Transactions, Arabic Language, and Comparative Religion. The graduate has the option of continuing his/her career with �W���Ԑ� to earn a Bachelor’s degree.

The Bachelor’s degree is a total of 126 credit hours. It covers the major areas in Islamic religion including Quran and its Sciences, Prophetic Sayings and Practice, Islamic Creed, Islamic Ethics, Rules of Transactions, Arabic Language, and Comparative Religion.

The Master’s Degree in Islamic Education encompasses two tracks with three options.

• For students who have not completed a teaching certification elsewhere, successfully completing the two tracks (40 credit hours) will entitle the Master’s candidate to a Master’s Degree in Islamic Education.
• Certified teachers, who have already completed their teaching certification from an accredited university or college, are only required to complete the Islamic Studies track (19 credit hours). �W���Ԑ� will accept their teacher certificate as dual credit and grant them a Master’s Degree in Islamic Education.
• Students who only wish to earn a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Islamic Studies are not required to complete the teaching portion of the program. Completing the Islamic Studies course list (total of 19 credit hours) would result in earning a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Islamic Studies

The Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Islamic Studies consists of a total of (19) credit hours in classical Islamic disciplines: Quran recitation, memorization, and Tajweed. Islamic doctrine, Islamic law (in brief), Arabic grammar and methods of teaching Arabic are also covered. The latter is designed especially for non-Arabic speakers. The student will also take a research methodology class in education.

The Master’s in Islamic Economics & Finance program encompasses two different components. Successful completion of the two components (total of 36 credit hours) courses and the Graduation Capstone entitles the candidate to earn a Master’s Degree in Islamic Economics & Finance.

The Graduation Capstone allows for three options: Exam, Professional Paper, or Thesis. The thesis option is designed for those students wishing to pursue a PhD in Islamic Finance.

Completion of the first year courses (18 credit hours) will result in an industrial qualification in Post Baccalaureate Certificate of Islamic Finance Professional.

�W���Ԑ�’s CIFP (Post Baccalaureate Certificate of Islamic Finance Professional) is the first year of the Master’s Islamic Economics & Finance MAEF Program. It is designed to fulfill the need of those who want to be certified in Islamic finance profession. It provides the principles and foundations of Islamic economics and finance, accounting in Islamic institutes, capital markets, and Fiqh of transactions.
