DR. GOMAA MAKHLOUF

Dr. Gomaa Makhlouf is a dedicated educator with a Ph.D. and over ten years of experience in program facilitation and adult education, specifically focusing on newcomer support. He is skilled in designing and delivering educational programs, assessing learner needs, and connecting individuals with community resources. Fluent in both English and Arabic, his expertise lies in cross-cultural communication and creating inclusive learning environments.

His professional experience includes serving as a Site-Based Chaplain/Counsellor at Bridges of Canada, where he provided guidance, conducted needs assessments, and managed volunteers. He also has experience as a Community Educator for the Prince Albert Muslim Association and the Muslim Community of Edmonton. He holds a Ph.D., Primary Educational Diploma, and Ten Variant Readings of the Qur’an certificate in Comparative Religions with a focus on cross-cultural dialogue from Al-Azhar University. He has served Muslim communities in the US and Canada since 2007.
